Saint Valentine's Day, now known as VALENTINE'S DAY is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine. Each year lots of us look forward to celebrate Valentines Day to show love and affection to our partners. And for some that don't have one,
oh well, you've got your friends to celebrate it with. Besides, Valentines Day isn't just for the lovebirds out there. Go out, have fun with your friends who happen to be in the same status as you do (single). Who knows? Your real Valentine is on search too! :)

It still as nice to have a flower or a box of chocolate that comes from the heart and not just from your pockets;)
Or how about a Valentine treats that is straight from the heart?

- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening, chilled

- Bake about 20 minutes or until golden and baked through.
- In a medium bowl, mix strawberries and sugar to combine. Let sit until juice forms.
- In a large bowl with a beater on medium-high, beat cream with sugar and vanilla until whipped.
- To serve, slice through biscuit horizontally and place cut sides up on a plate. Top with 1/4 cup berries and juice and 1/3 cup of whipped cream.
Make it Faster
Instead of using a cookie cutter, pat the dough into a rectangle and cut into serving-sized squares with a sharp knife.
